Star Wars Outlaws Update 1.003.001 Released for PS5 Screen Tearing Issue
While we got a pretty hefty patch for Star Wars Outlaws yesterday that fixed a good number of bugs, it also brought in a nasty screen tearing issue on the PS5. Thankfully, that shouldn’t be an issue now with Ubisoft’s hotfix release for Star Wars Outlaws update 1.003.001.
Star Wars Outlaws Update 1.003.001 Fixes the Screen Tearing Issue
There are no patch notes per se, given this fixes one issue with the game, but Ubisoft has announced the following:
- Hey, Outlaws! Arriving shortly for PS5 is a hotfix, V1.3.1, that addresses a screen tearing issue.
The PS5 screen tearing issue was more pronounced if you played the game on Performance Mode. Now, though, that shouldn’t be a problem anymore.
If you missed yesterday’s patch, here’s a round up of the highlights in it:
NOTABLE CHANGES:
- Implemented stealth changes to ‘False Flag’ and other missions to give players more flexibility in how they approach situations without the risk of failing
- Improved speeder travel by reducing collisions with objects in the environment
- Improved NPC combat behavior
- Increased auto-save opportunities in open world hostile areas (Imperial Compounds and Faction Territories)
- Scaled ‘Wanted’ difficulty based on player progression
- Improved AI speeder avoidance
You can read the entire patch notes here.
Ubisoft has announced that the next patch will be released on November 21, which should coincide with the game’s first story DLC titled “Wild Card.”
