The Callisto Protocol Update 1.28 Sneaks Out This July 30
Here’s an interesting development for The Callisto Protocol players, Striking Distance has pushed out a new game update for the horror game. Those on consoles will see this as The Callisto Protocol update 1.28 (Version 1.029 for those on PS5), and this is an unannounced title update, which we can confirm is also on PC.

Download Size: 3.8GB (PC)
Striking Distance has not made any announcements on what this patch brings, though we’re highly doubtful it brings any new content. What we are hoping for is it brings bug fixes to issues such as:
- The UI disappearing for no reason
- Trophy/Achievements sometimes not popping
- Issue with skins
Speaking of skins, the latest patch for the game released in December was for new free skins given out by the studio. We’ve reached out to Striking Distance about the update, and if we hear anything back, we’ll update the article.
We’re also keeping tabs on the community if they spot anything. If you find a specific fix or anything new, share them in the comments, and if it checks out, we’ll add it in the article.
