The First Descendant Update 1.025 Released for Hotfix 1.3.27b
The First Descendant Hotfix 1.3.27b has been released by Nexon today, May 7, 2026. This update appears as version 1.025 on PS5 and 1.25 on PS4, and focuses on fixing specific skill-related bugs for Viessa and Sharen.
The patch mainly fixes an issue where Viessa’s “Ice Explosion” passive could trigger on enemies immune to Frostbite, along with a bug where Sharen’s attacks could pass through terrain when using “Release Cutting Force.” You can read the complete patch notes below.

- Fixed an issue where Viessa’s passive skill ‘Ice Explosion’ triggers even on targets that are immune to ‘Frostbite’
- Fixed an issue where Sharen’s attacks pass through terrain and hit enemies when using the ‘Release Cutting Force’ skill after equipping the ‘Release Cutting Force’ module
While this update doesn’t add new content, it focuses on fixing specific gameplay issues. This follow-up patch follows the larger Patch 1.3.27, released on April 29, which officially ended the beta period for Onslaught Mode and introduced various content improvements.
