The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered’s Latest Update Version 2.001.010 Addresses Minor Issues
Following last month’s major patch for The Last of Us Remastered Part 2 that added new Uncharted skins and more, Naughty Dog has released a new minor patch that addresses a short list of minor issues.
PS5 gamers will see this as The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered update version 2.001.010, which the studio tags as 2.1.1. While most of these are technical fixes, there is one that affects gameplay and Ellie.

The Last of Us Part 2’s New Update on August 5 Brings Version 2.001.010
General
- Fixed an issue where Ellie would appear with multiple bracelets when bonus skins were equipped
- Fixed an issue where voice-over audio would be missing at the start of the chapter “Ground Zero” when playing on Chronological mode
- Addressed an issue where subtitles during certain cutscenes would not appear when playing on Chronological mode
Gameplay
- Fixed an issue where, in rare instances, Ellie could be missing her pistol at the end of the chapter “Hillcrest”
That’s about it for the update.When it comes to the franchise’s future, Naughty Dog boss Neil Druckmann can’t guarantee The Last of Us 3 will happen, and says “this could be it” for the franchise.
The next game from the studio is Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, which currently has no release date, but is reportedly inspired by FromSoftware’s Elden Ring. Outside of that game, Neil Druckmann has revealed he is also working on an unannounced game at the studio.
