Yakuza Kiwami 2 Version 2.12 Released as January Update and Fixes High FPS Issues via Patch 1.013
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has released a new Yakuza Kiwami 2 game update on January 23, and this is for version 2,12. Console gamers will see this download as update 1.013 (complete version 1.013.000).
While there’s no new content included in the update, it does feature a fix for the issue with high frame-rates when in combat.

Yakuza Kiwami 2’s January 2026 Update Fixes Technical Issues via Patch 1.013
Here’s what got fixed per RGG Studio:
- Fixed an issue with combat behavior at high FPS
- Fixed an issue in advanced graphics settings where setting anti-aliasing to TAA did not function correctly
- Fixed an issue in advanced graphics settings that was causing Realtime Reflections and SSAO not to function correctly
- Fixed an issue where the “High” setting for Movie Quality was not applied to some cutscenes
- Fixed various other minor issues
