Gearbox Software has promised their fans that the second expansion DLC for Borderlands 2 titled “Mr.Torgue’s Campaign Of Carnage” will arrive before the year is over.

Things are finally starting to move along thanks to a recent viral campaign on Twitter, which has Mister Torgue himself making an appearance by hacking into Gaige the Mechromancer’s Echocast and looking for the most badass of all badasses on the planet of Pandora to see if they got what it takes to conquer his campaign of carnage.

But that’s not all, Mister Torgue has also released a ‘Badass’ picture of himself as seen in the featured image above.

In other Borderlands 2 news, the Torgue weapons manufacturer has just recently released an intro video, and you guessed it, it’s loud and full of explosions. Be sure to check it out:

Lastly, the PC version of Borderlands 2 has received yet another update with the following notes:

Update 1.2.2

• Fixed an issue involving progress on some area-specific challenges being incorrectly associated with the wrong challenge. As a result, progress on some area-specific challenges made following the 1.2.0 update may be shifted to another challenge.
