The once PC-exclusive free-to-play, third-person shooter, Warframe, is now going to be a launch title for the PlayStation 4 console and will follow a similar  free-to-play micro-transaction model to its PC counter-part.

According to IGN, as a bonus, it will ship with a few added special features to the PlayStation 4 version thanks to the Dual-Shock 4 controller. Unfortunately, no details are available at this time as to what role the Dual-Shock 4 controller will play when it comes to these mysterious special features.

Those who haven’t been following the Warframe game, here’s an 8 minute video clip to help get yourself familiar with whats to come once it launches on the PlayStation 4:

Currently, there is no word on when exactly you can expect Warframe to be available, as Sony hasn’t given a specific launch date for the PlayStation 4, aside from the Holiday Season 2013.
