Destiny Beta Confirmed for July

Destiny publisher Activision has announced during a recent quarter one, calendar year 2014 earnings call that the highly anticipate beta for Bungie’s upcoming shared-world shooter will launch some time in July.

The beta is planned to open up to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 users first, coming later to Xbox One and Xbox 360. The time frame between both launches is still unspecified. Again, access is granted by pre-ordering the game.

Destiny launches on next-gen consoles and previous-gen consoles on September 9.

Developer Bungie has re-confirmed the July beta date on their official Twitter channel, adding that an exact date will be mentioned during E3 2014.
