Update:
An unofficial fix has been found which you can read about here!
Some players in Mortal Kombat 11 are literally holding matches hostage as they play the wait game in hopes that a player will either forfeit or rage quit. Yep, a new Mortal Kombat forfeit exploit is happening, which gives people an absurd win-loss ratios!
Some guy had a ratio of 33/1 on KL. Freed up his Lao, and now I’m stuck on the results screen for some reason, forcing me to take a loss if i want to restart the game. from MortalKombat

The exploit in question takes place after the the first match a player has against another in Kombat League. If someone who had lost the first match wanted to, they could lock the screen up for the other player l, forcing to either quit or wait it out. Despite their being a timer, the decision is never selected leaving some players having to wait an extreme amount of time in hopes that the exploiter will just decide to leave.

Many over on the Mortal Kombat 11 subreddit have already voiced their concerns, with some opting out of this season of Kombat League Due to the frustration of running into these players. It may not be a large population of players that are doing this, but it’s still an annoyance to run into.
Thankfully the team over at NetherRealm Studio have addressed that they are looking into the issue and will hopefully have a fix.
MK11 players: we’re aware of the current issues with Kombat League and are working towards a solution. Thank you for your patience!
