A recent Alpha build of Halo 3 was leaked online, and it revealed that the game was supposed to have a feature that never made it in the final release—leaning.
A clip of some Alpha footage shows the player leaning to the left and right, with the camera also seemingly tilting forward a little bit.
The Halo 3 Alpha build leaked today and it includes a leaning feature to aim around corners. Do you think Halo should have more movement features such as leaning?

Leaning is a game mechanic found in FPS games that gives the player a way to safely peek through corners without exposing their entire body in the process. It’s found in battle royales such as PUBG and competitive shooters such as Rainbow Six Siege.

It seems like Halo fans were happy that this change never made the final cut, too. Replies from the Twitter thread cite that the mechanic is “clunky” and isn’t something meant for a shooter with an active playstyle like Halo.
I hate leaning so much. Clunky mechanic that has no place in a fast paced shooter imo

Glad this was cut. Leaning works in more tactical shooters, but I don't see it really working out in Halo.
