It looks like the controversy and issues surrounding Dragon’s Dogma 2 wasn’t enough to drag the game down, as Capcom has announced that the Dragon’s Dogma 2 sales have now topped over 2.5 million units sold!
In the press release, Capcom has also confirmed that the Dragon’s Dogma franchise has cumulatively sold over 10 million units.
“The Dragon’s Dogma series consists of action games in a fantasy setting where players adventure in an expansive open world of swords and magic. Since the release of the first game in 2012, the series garnered praise worldwide for gameplay features such as its “pawn” adventure companions who can carry out actions on their own, leading the series to exceed 10 million units sold cumulatively.”
There’s no breakdown on the platforms’ sales, but we’re guessing most of its sales went to the PS5 version.
Capcom also adds that additions and changes are being made at an “ongoing basis,” though didn’t specify when the next one will drop. Speaking of which, check out the changelog for the game update released last week.
We’re honestly not surprised at the game’s sales, as Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an amazing experience — something we noted in our review.

Love Dragons Dogma 2, one of my new favorite things is being able to customize your pawns appearance at any time with a specific item that cost 500 RC.
