Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition Leaked With 50+ Games
After the arrival of new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, several big changes were made to Game Pass. She explained that the service had become too expensive for many players, so Microsoft decided to lower the price of Game Pass PC and Ultimate. At the same time, Xbox also confirmed that new Call of Duty games will no longer launch on Game Pass on day one.
Now, another part of this new strategy may be the arrival of Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition, the cheaper version of the subscription service that has been discussed for weeks.
The List of Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition Games Appears Online

The first signs of Starter Edition actually appeared through Xbox Cloud Gaming code discovered by X user redphx, which started the early rumors around this new subscription tier. Later, another leaked promotional image shared by the X account DiscordPreviewXbox suggested that this Starter plan could even be included with Discord Nitro, which currently costs $9.99 per month. Since Asha Sharma had already hinted at a partnership with Discord, this made the report even stronger.
Building on that, well-known leaker billbil-kun later shared more details about what players can expect from this new subscription. According to his report, the Starter Edition should include more than fifty games, while cloud streaming may only be available for ten hours per month. It also seems that Starter Edition will not include online multiplayer, which would make it the only Game Pass subscription (except PC) without this feature.
This means that even if a player buys a full paid game like FC 26, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, or Battlefield 6, they still would not be able to access multiplayer with Starter Edition, which makes this limitation much more serious for many users.
The games included in the Starter Edition are:
