Alien: Isolation 2 First Trailer Revealed, Launching on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2
Summer Game Fest 2026 has just begun and is already packed with major announcements for horror fans.
Following the surprise reveal of Resident Evil Veronica, Sega and Creative Assembly have also unveiled the first trailer for Alien: Isolation 2.
Alien: Isolation 2 Will Launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2
The game is the long-awaited sequel to the first-person horror title that was released more than a decade ago. Based on the debut trailer, the sequel looks set to deliver an even more intense horror experience than its predecessor.
One of the biggest changes appears to be the setting. While the original Alien: Isolation largely took place inside claustrophobic environments where the Xenomorph constantly hunted the player, the sequel seems to move much of the action to the surface of a planet, including outdoor areas.
That means the deadly creatures could appear at any moment, even while players are exploring open environments.
The trailer did not reveal much gameplay details, as Sega and Creative Assembly have yet to announce a release window for the game. However, the companies confirmed that Alien: Isolation 2 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, and is available to wishlist now. They also confirmed that more updates will be shared in the future.
