GTA 6 Collector’s Edition Scalpers Are Charging Up to $1,500 Despite It Still Being in Stock
Rockstar Games has finally revealed the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition, and as you might expect, scalpers have wasted no time jumping in.
The special edition is aimed at the biggest GTA fans, but some buyers are already trying to resell it online for much higher prices.
A quick look at eBay shows that the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition is being offered at prices ranging from $750 to more than $1,500. In other words, scalpers are asking as much as $1,500 for a Collector’s Edition that officially costs around $400.
GTA 6’s $400 Collector’s Edition Doesn’t Include the Game
The ironic part of this situation is that no, the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition is not sold out at all, and the edition can still be pre-ordered directly through Rockstar Games’ official pages. This means buyers can still purchase it from the official store instead of paying the much higher prices being asked on markets such as eBay.
At $399.99, the Collector’s Edition is already expensive. This may explain why it is still in stock, as some fans may be unsure about buying it or may have decided to skip it.
Even so, scalpers have already made their investment in the hope of being able to resell the collectible items offered by Rockstar.
As a reminder, the Collector’s Edition includes these items:

What will not be included, however, is the game itself: GTA 6 will have to be purchased separately and only in digital format. The collection is scheduled to ship on November 19, the same date as the planned launch of GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
In other GTA 6 news, Rockstar will pay Miami $3 million to promote GTA 6 despite protests from officials who say the game could harm the city’s public image. In addition, GTA 6 features Rockstar’s “most detailed and varied character population” yet.
