Control Resonant Upcoming Updates Include New Game++ in October, Photo Mode in November
While Remedy released a hotfix for Control Resonant yesterday when the game launched, that’s far from what the devs have planned for the future of the action-RPG.
The initial post-launch plans for Control Resonant have been revealed by Remedy, and players don’t need to wait long to see something new drop for the game.
Chief among the plans is a New Game++ mode that’s set to be rolled out next month.
Control Resonant New Game++ Will Let You Do Unlimited Runs
While players can experience New Game+ now, the current version of the mode only lets players beat the game only once more. With the introduction of New Game++, players will be able to run NG+ after NG+ run, without erasing your progress.
This will arrive sometime in October, but no specific date has been given yet.
In addition to that, Remedy is also cooking up a proper Photo Mode for Control Resonant, and said, “The Photo Mode for CONTROL Resonant is something we’ve been cooking for a while. We even consulted some talented virtual photographers from the community to help us make it the best it can be. The reason Photo Mode didn’t release on launch is because we needed to prioritize making sure the game was in the best possible shape.”
Photo Mode will be released sometime in November.
In addition to the two new features, Remedy plans to release more cosmetic pieces in future updates.
This also doesn’t even factor in hotfixes or other patches that aim for gameplay improvements, which the studio is known for doing for its titles.
