Control Resonant Update 1.400.002 Fixes Issues From Previous Patch and Brings It to Version 1.4.2
Following the major update for Control Resonant that brought the game to version 1.4, Remedy Entertainment pushed out a hotfix that helped resolve issues with progression just a day later.
Unfortunately, that didn’t fix all the bugs from the version 1.4 patch, and the devs have today released another one today. PC gamers will see the game appear as version 1.4.2, while PS5 players will see it as Control Resonant update 1.400.002, and Xbox Series X|S as patch version 1.4.2.0.
This should be a small download across all platforms, and its primary focus is fixing progression blockers.
Control Resonant The House in Distress Quest Issue Resolved via October 8 Update
Versions:
- PlayStation 5: 01.400.200
- Xbox Series X|S: 1.4.2.0
- PC: 1.4.2
Complete Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue in The House in Distress quest where Zoe went missing, preventing quest progression
- Fixed an issue where the player is unable to leave the Gap after exiting to the Main Menu right after defeating the Artist Resonant and not using the Ability selection prompt
- Fixed an issue where the player is unable to ask Busken (NPC) about Underhill after getting far enough into the quest
- Fixed an issue with the Notes: Every Dog Has Her Day side quest where completing the quest was not awarding an Artifact as a reward. You shall now be rewarded. Unless the dog ate the reward. We also added a method to retroactively give the reward to players who have completed the quest (as long as they did not enter New Game + yet!)
- Fixed an issue where the Firebreaker you have to protect decides to do nothing but stand around.
- Fixed an issue where the Burn status effect deals too much damage to Dylan while using the Wallet Artifact and running out of Power
- Fixed an issue where during Escort tasks the Rangers didn’t always reset their positions correctly.
- Fixed subtitle timing and other localization issues across all languages
