The Witcher 3 Remastered Upcoming Updates Promised to Resolve Issues
Since the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered upgrade last week, developer CD Projekt RED has already pushed out a few hotfixes on consoles and PC.
While these patches resolved issues, there are still a handful left to squash — especially for console gamers.
For those annoyed at the RPG’s performance on PS5, this is something that CDPR addressed will be fixed in an upcoming update.
The Witcher 3 Remastered Version Getting More Fixes and Improvements Soon
CD Projekt RED announced that the following fixes will be released via an update. It’s not mentioned whether all these will be fixed in one patch or multiple ones, but at the very least, fixes are on the way.
- Further performance improvements, particularly on PS5
- Further visual adjustments
- My Rewards/Twitch Drops fixes
- Making Ukrainian localization available in other regions on Playstation 5 & Xbox Series X/S
- Voiceover audio fixes on consoles
The developers did say that they are aiming to address “many” of these issues in the next update, so it does seem like we’ll be getting multiple patches. No time frame has been given on when the next patch will be pushed out, but I’d expect it sometime this week, given how fast CDPR rolls out game updates.
Another thing announced by the devs is that more mods will be available across all platforms. No mention of which ones will be available on consoles, but we’re hoping the one where Geralt is allowed to wear a hood is part of it.
Once the update is live, expect it here on MP1st.
The tale of Geralt isn’t ending there, as Songs of the Past is another major story expansion and will be available sometime next year.
