The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered Upgrade Releases September 29; First Look at Songs of the Past Revealed
To end things at Gamescom Opening Night Live, CD Projekt RED announced The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered — a free upgrade to existing base game owners.
This upgrade doesn’t just enhance the visuals, as it also improves combat, adds new finishers, and a lot more. If you ever wanted to replay The Witcher 3, September might be the perfect time to do so.

The Witcher 3 Remastered Brings New Features and Improvements
Players can expect the following from the upgrade per CDPR:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered modernizes the generation-defining open-world role-playing game with a range of upgrades and enhancements to visuals, performance, gameplay, and more. Become monster slayer for hire Geralt of Rivia and journey across the war-torn Northern Kingdoms to find your adopted daughter, Ciri, before the spectral forces of the Wild Hunt take her incredible power for their own. Included in Remastered are two critically acclaimed expansions — Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine — to expand the legendary story even further.
