Battlefield 6 Season 5 Schedule of Content Rollout Revealed; Dead Space Crossover Starts Haunting on October 20
Earlier this week, EA and DICE revealed the start date of Battlefield 6’s Season 5, and along with it, the content players will see become available.
Today, the developers took it one step further, as the schedule of content rollout has been revealed too, and it includes the Dead Space collaboration for Halloween.

Running from October 20 to November 7, the limited-time event follows Pax Armata as it pursues secret technology hidden beneath Area 51.

Per the press release: “Battlefield 6 is now one year old and what an incredible journey it’s been, from our Top Gun collaboration, which coincided with the return of Naval Warfare, to the launch of some of the most exhilarating maps in Battlefield history. And we’re just getting started, with Season 5 set to be the biggest yet. This has been an unforgettable year and we can’t thank players enough,” says Patrick Klaus, General Manager of Battlefield Studios – Motive & Ripple Effect. “We’re ending 2026 with a bang with three maps set in and around Las Vegas, a new way to experience REDSEC, as well as delivering on some of our community’s most requested features, with the introduction of Platoons and Server Browser. There’s never been a better time to play Battlefield.”
Expect the patch notes to be available sometime next week before the update is released. Don’t forget, DICE and EA have already promised more content is planned for 2027, so expect a new Seasno 1 to kick off at some point in early Q1.
In other news, the game’s first-year anniversary celebrations didn’t really went over well with the community, with one calling it worse than the greediest F2P games.
