Wardogs Season 2

Wardogs Season 2 now has a date, as Bulkhead has announced today that the first-person shooter hit will see its new season hit on October 15.

Players can expect new weapons, vehicles and more, and when it comes to the gameplay side of things, there will be major changes on the way too.

Players can expect four new weapons, four new vehicles, three new buildables, a new weather preset and an experimental in-game wager system, and this isn’t even counting the gameplay changes being applied.

Wardogs Season 2 Promises More of Everything

Check out the Season 2 summary info:

New Weapons: Four new weapons are being added: TCX-SPR Assault Rifle, M14 DMR, PP-19 Bizon SMG, and Evo-3 Ultra LMG, alongside new attachments.

New Vehicles: The update introduces the Wolf-110 and its armed assault variant, the T-72B3 main battle tank, and the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air vehicle.

New Buildables: Players can construct an MG Nest, Large Shelter, and Wooden Step to fortify positions and defend objectives.

Rain Weather: A new rain preset affects visibility, engagement ranges, and sound. Synchronized thunder can temporarily mask footsteps, creating new tactical opportunities.

Experimental Wager Vendor: Players can wager in-game cash on their performance by completing objectives with additional conditions for higher potential payouts. The early-access feature may be expanded, adjusted, or removed if exploited.

Combat Balancing: Weapon damage, recoil, and suppression are being adjusted to establish clearer roles for different weapon classes. Full patch notes are scheduled for release next week.

Faction Balancing: The blue Lonestar faction will receive uniform and spawn-position adjustments, plus exclusive cash and XP bonuses to address its low win rate. Vendor discounts for struggling teams and restrictions on late-match team switching are also being introduced.

Joe Brammer, CEO of Bullhead, had this to say about Season 2: ““We’ve learned a huge amount from watching people play WARDOGS since launch. Season 2 gives players more weapons, vehicles and ways to play, but just as importantly, we’ve been working through the feedback and making changes to the systems that matter every match. Early Access is about continuing to build the game with our community, and this is the first major step in that process.”

Other items also headed for Season 2 include minor improvements to squad coordination, vehicle handling, controller responsiveness and progression, alongside additional rewards for teamplay and logistics.

The complete patch notes are due to be released next week, so stay tuned for that.

For those on consoles, don’t expect Wardogs to hit those platforms until 2028 at the earliest.
