Lies of P Best Settings – PC, Consoles and Controller

Lies of P Best Settings

Of the many video games released this past year, the clear majority come out in a poor state. They’re terribly unoptimized and in dire need of a second pass-through by quality assurance and bug-fixing teams. But the recently released Lies of P is one of the most stable and polished experiences in recent memory. Despite its exceptional performance in most systems, you can still optimize for your build. Here are the Lies of P’s best settings for optimal performance!

Lies of P Best PC Settings:

If your system can handle Lies of P’s recommended system requirements, the following graphical settings will ensure 60 FPS.

  • Visibility: Best
  • Anti-Aliasing: Medium
  • Post-Processing: Best
  • Shadow Quality: Medium
  • Texture Quality: Best
  • Effect Quality: Medium
  • Vegetation Quality: High
  • Shading Quality: Best
  • Reflection Quality: Medium
  • Volumetric Fog Quality: Medium
  • Ambient Occlusion: Medium
  • Anisotropy Filter: Medium

If you have an Nvidia GPU, then turn on DLSS. You’ll also note that we recommend turning Shadow Quality down to Medium. It offers a better frame-rate experience without sacrificing quality whatsoever. There is very little difference between Medium and Best.

Lies of P Best Console Settings:

Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X target a maximum of 60fps in Lies of P in Performance Mode and 30fps in Quality Mode, with a target 4K resolution. Both consoles can handle the game perfectly fine. If you’re running 1440p or 4K, then opt for Quality Mode. At 1080p, then consider using Performance Mode.

If you notice any frame drops, the game has a setting for High Frame Rate in Quality Mode that increases the target framerate per second to 40.

Otherwise, you don’t need to mess about with settings on consoles, as the game is optimized extremely well for all systems! Turn motion blur off if needed, otherwise, most options are good as a default.

Best Controller Settings for Lies of P:

For those of you playing on a controller, which is an excellent way to enjoy Lies of P, you may wish to alter your button layout slightly. The default controller layout works well, but if you have a personal preference, don’t hesitate to swap things around. We recommend:

  • LT: Legion Arm
  • RT: Special Attach
  • LB: Guard
  • RB: Normal Attack
  • X: Use Item
  • Y: Fable Arts
  • B: Dodge
  • A: Interact
  • Left Stick: Movement
  • Right Stick: Rotate Camera
  • Left Stick Button: Jump
  • Right Stick Button: Lock On
  • Up: Upper Belt
  • Down: Lower Belt
  • Right: Swap Weapon
  • Left: Swap Legion Arm

Then, consider overall sensitivity settings:

  • Left Stick: 5
  • Right Stick: 5
