A little more than a year after its release, A Plague Tale Requiem has reached three million players. In response to the support, publisher Focus Entertainment announced another collaborative project with Asobi Studio, potentially teasing another sequel in the Plague Tale series.
The announcement arrived today via Focus Entertainment’s official Twitter/X account:

Seizing this moment, we're delighted to reveal our renewed collaboration with @AsoboStudio for another exciting project!🎉 pic.twitter.com/yyeQalCwYH

Asobi Studio is the developer behind the first two Plague Tale games, as well as numerous other well-known titles. They’ve only worked with Focus Entertainment for this series specifically, lending credence to the possibility that the next project could be a continuation (even though they stated they didn’t have plans for a sequel). Regardless, we’re excited to see what the next project will be.
