Agent Locke Is a Playable Character in Halo 5: Guardians, More Details on Halo: Nightfall
Agent Locke, the mysterious figure featured in Halo 5: Guardian’s first key art and Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s debut trailer will be a playable character in 343 Industries’ next official installment in the Halo series.
The news comes out of 343’s San Diego Comic-Con 2014 panel earlier today where the studio dropped more details on the upcoming digital series, Halo: Nightfall, from producer Ridley Scott. Check out the debut trailer above and the first official key art right here:
According to the panel Halo: Nightfall is an origin story for UNSC soldier Jameson Lock, played by Mike Colter, and his journey on the road to becoming a Spartan and a key figure in Halo 5: Guardians. According to 343’s Frank O’Connor, Locke’s story in Nightfall will directly tie in to his role in Guardians as a playable character.
His alignment and intentions within the game’s story remain secret, however, as O’Connor is saving that information for SDCC 2015.
Halo: Nightfall will be available on Xbox Live this November 11 and is also included in every copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Meanwhile, check out some of the first screens on the set of the digital series.
