DICE has announce that the Battlefield 2042 “Dust Shield’ headgear for MacKay has been pulled from the game due to a nagging issue.
This announcement was made via the Battlefield Direct Twitter account today, which Community Manager Kevin Johnson confirmed was due to freezing problems:
I truly appreciate the patience that you're showing us as we continue to navigate through the freezing issues that you've highlighted to us over these past couple of days
Please know that there are a lot working to investigate and resolve things ASAP.
