Battlefield 2042 Mouse & Keyboard Support for Consoles Won’t Be Available at Launch

Battlefield 2042 Mouse & Keyboard

For console players who are thinking of playing Battlefield 2042 using a mouse & keyboard, you won’t be able to (at least not legitimately) at launch. DICE has confirmed that Battlefield 2042 mouse & keyboard support for consoles is something they are still “investigating” though there’s no guarantee that it will be implemented.

Console – Mouse & Keyboard Support

We’ve heard your questions about mouse and keyboard support for consoles. We can confirm that we won’t be supporting this on consoles at the launch of Battlefield 2042, but we are still investigating the various options about making that available, and how it may impact cross-play. If that ever changes, you’ll hear it from us first.

As you can see from the released statement, DICE (or EA) has made no guarantee that we’ll see it be implemented at all.

Is this a deal breaker for some console gamers, or are you just going to get the game on PC?
