While DICE has a handful of issues they’re looking to sort out in another update for Battlefield 6, some key complaints from the community have been acknowledged to be part of the planned improvements.

Chief among them is enemy infantry visibility, which isn’t as bad as it was in Battlefield V, but could benefit from improvements.

DICE has confirmed that in the next update, players should see this improved alongside another thing that’s been bugging PC players since launch.

Battlefield 6 Infantry Visibility to Be Improved Especially When Prone

Over on X (formerly Twitter), Principal Game Designer Florian Le Bihan confirmed that they are discussing player visibility constantly, and in the next update, they are tweaking it so that players that are hard to see in dark areas, particularly when prone, will be improved.

Le Bihan notes, “Not really, it’s not good that’s for sure. We’re discussing player visibility constantly and will be iterating on it for the upcoming updates. It won’t be all in a single update as there is a lot to look at and it’s a balance to strike between art and gameplay.” Le Bihan also added, “Players that are hard to see in dark areas, particularly when prone is something that we’re aiming to improve in the next update.”

This is definitely good news for Battlefield 6 players annoyed by getting killed by enemies you can’t even see.

The good news doesn’t end there. For PC players who accidentally switch loadouts due to hotkeys, that’s getting removed in the next patch too,  confirmed by Le Bihan in a separate tweet.

There’s no date for when this next patch will be released, but unless DICE releases a surprise update, the next one is set for December 9, the Winter Offensive patch that caps the end of Season 1 and will bring some snowy-themed chaos into the mix.

In other Battlefield 6 news, early info on Season 2 and Season 3 has surfaced, giving us a sense of what to expect. For those who want to try the game, there’s a free multiplayer trial for a week that carries over your progress if you purchase the full game.

How is that an improvement? We already have soldiers with a glowing aura in dark areas, that absolutely looks ridiculous.

Battlefield will never be a hardcore realistic shooter but thats just too much

Now if they can only get rid of the error my account somehow gets every weekend so I can play, then we’re talking. But it’s only on the weekends, during the week I can play just fine, ea support says they’re working on it but can’t tell me what’s causing it.
