Battlefield 6 Season 2, S3 Early Info Unearthed
While we’re still knee-deep in Season 1 of Battlefield 6, the latest update for the game not only implemented gameplay improvements, but it also had data for the game’s upcoming seasons.
Thanks to a new datamine, early info regarding Season 2’s vehicles, gadgets and more have surfaced.
Before diving in, remember that same with anything datamined, there is no guarantee that these items will be part of the new season. It could very well be leftover code, something that’s still being decided or something. That said, most of the time, when something is datamined in a Battlefield game, it’s there for a reason.
Battlefield 6 Season 2 Will See the Return of the Little Bird
Datamined by the ever-reliable temporyal, it’s been spotted that the AH-6 Little Bird chopper will be rolled out as part of Season 2. Not only that, but we even have an overview of the vehicle’s kit. Also spotted is the existence of jetskis, which is said to be headed to the game as part of Season 3.
Aside from vehicles, the upcoming gadgets were also spotted. Expect the Airburst grenade launcher, the impact grenade and more to be released to the game as part of a new season.

SICH G1 FRAG — AIRBURST GRENADE LAUNCHER
Chambered in 40mm grenades, this weapon fires frag grenades that can explode mid-flight to eliminate targets behind cover.
GL40 STKY — STICKY GRENADE LAUNCHER
Chambered in 40mm sticky grenades that can adhere to surfaces, vehicles, or soldiers. Can be carried standalone or underslung.
M320A1 AT — ANTI-VEHICLE GRENADE LAUNCHER
Chambered in 40mm anti-tank grenades, ideal for combating enemy armor. Can be carried standalone or underslung.
RGO — IMPACT GRENADE
A fragmentation grenade that provides a quick explosion at the cost of less damage. Detonates on contact.
Again, it’s worth noting that none of the info above is in any way official. So don’t get mad if what we get for Season 2 varies greatly from the items you see above. That said, temporyal has been very much on the ball when it comes to this stuff.

In other Battlefield 6 news, it’s been reported that the game has now had the biggest launch month in terms of revenue of any game in the past three years. There’s no word on when we’ll see Season 2, but expect it to kick off sometime in early 2026. We expect the reveal and the new season info blowot to happen in January 2026.
