At Gamescom 2014, Visceral Games GM Steve Papoutsis addressed the crowd during EA’s media briefing to present new content from both Battlefield Hardline‘s multiplayer and single player.
As seen on stage, below are two brand new Battlefield Hardline gameplay trailers highlighting the game’s new Rescue multiplayer mode and a full mission from the game’s single player campaign.

During the presentation, Papoutsis unveiled two new game modes coming to Hardline’s multiplayer – Hotwire and Resuce, both playable on the show floor at Gamescom 2014.
Hotwire is a vehicle-based mode that puts emphasis on high speed chases, while Rescue gives competitive Battlefield players the chance to face off in a 5v5 one-life-to-live hostage rescue game type. See the latter in action below:
Battlefield Hardline will launch early 2015 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
