Battlefield 3 Premium members are in for a few treats before this month’s end. DICE has a few events and goodies planned including a new competition, some more Double XP, and a brand new trailer.

Air Kills Competition

Last September’s Premium competition saw players battling for the most amount of kills in Tank Superiority. Starting this Saturday, October 27, DICE will have Battlefield 3 fans fighting for air superiority as they attempt to gain the highest number of kills from air-based vehicles in Armored Kill. 15 winners (5 from each platform) will be awarded a signed, limited edition lithograph featuring Battlefield 3 artwork. How do you enter? Simply play Battlefield 3: Armored Kill on Premium-specific servers by entering a password, which will be supplied closer to the competition date.

Halloween Double XP Event

Hopefully you won’t be too busy handing out candy this Halloween as DICE if flipping on the Double XP switch for a whole 96 hours starting October 31, ending on All Saint’s Day. Exact start times are 7AM October 31 PDT/3PM CEST October 31.

Aftermath Gameplay Trailer

Premium members will be treated to a brand new video based on the upcoming Battlefield 3 expansion Aftermath this October 30.

Soldier Upgrade

This Month’s Soldier upgrade, already deployed on October 1, consisted of five new assignments which earned you brand new weapon camos when completed: L85A2 Berkut, MTAR Woodland Oak, LSAT Digital Woodland, SKS Desert Stripe, and UMP-45 Berkut. Still working on those?
