Borderlands 2 – Special Halloween Shift Codes Inbound

In the spirit of Halloween, the kind folks over at Gearbox Software have just announced that they are treating their loyal Vault Hunters of Borderlands 2 with an awesome treat, starting as of now. Once the Shift code is redeemed, they’ll net you a special ‘spooky’ character skin that’ll be available for use on your favorite Vault Hunter.

The first batch of these special Shift codes has already started to roll out, with more to to be released throughout the day. These special Shift codes will all be redeemable up until the 4th of November. Any of these special Shift codes that are redeemed after the cut-off date of 12:55 PM EST on November 4th, won’t work, sadly. Find out exact times for your location here.

This set of codes will unlock the Fright Of The Bumble Bee skin for Maya the Siren. For those of you who are going to be busy celebrating the festivities of Halloween, make sure to visit our forums where we will post the rest of these codes to make sure you won’t miss out.

Note: Thes set of skins have been in the game since launch and are in no way, shape or form actually new, since these skins drop from Ultimate Badass Varkids.

To those who are new to Borderlands 2 and don’t know how these Shift Codes exactly work, just follow these simple steps:

  • Go to the main menu of Borderlands 2.
  • Once there, hit the ‘Extras’ option, then select ‘Shift’ which should bring you into a main menu.
  • Once your here, bring up the Shift Code redeem option and enter your Shift Code.
