Borderlands 3 Update 1.32

Following last month’s free cosmetics rollout for Borderlands 3, Gearbox Software has now rolled out a new patch that introduces quality-of-life features on all platforms. Console gamers will see this as Borderlands 3 update 1.32 (BL3 update version 1.923 on PS5), with the complete patch notes available below.

Borderlands 3 Update 1.32 Patch Notes | BL3 Update 1.923 (PS5) Patch Notes:

  • The update contains these quality-of-life features:
  • Players are now able to create a Max Level Character from the main menu once they have beaten the game and have at least one max level character!
  • Added an option to auto-sell gear based on rarity from the main menu:
  • This auto-sell feature automatically sells gear below your set rarity when picked up. Cosmetics will not auto-sell.
  • A note for Mission Gear: Once a mission has ended, any mission reward items offered as a pickup could be automatically sold if auto-sell is enabled. Before completing a mission, the auto-sell option can be set to “None” to avoid possibly losing a mission reward.
  • On Steam Deck: Increased font size of text in the Options Menu.

The patch released last month had the following cosmetics for all gamers to receive:

  • our NEW Player Heads
  • Four NEW Player Skins
  • Four NEW Trinkets
  • Two NEW ECHO Skins
  • One NEW Global Weapon Skin

You can read more about that here.

This is definitely a surprising move by Gearbox, though one that’s not that strange given the movie of the game is set to launch, and chances are, the developers are banking on gamers jumping into the latest game in the franchise due to the hype.
