If you didn’t want to spring for the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remaster when it was released, or just want more players to play with (assuming the Xbox 360 player base is still very much active), then do we have good news for you!

The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Xbox One backwards compatibility feature is now live! Yes, that means that if you have the original disc from all those years back, you can plop it in, and play! If you don’t have it, there’s also a sale on Modern Warfare as part of the Xbox Spring Sale; though if you’re doing that, you might just want to get the remastered version, no?

For the full list of Xbox One backwards compatible titles, and how it works, check here.

In related news, there’s multiple rumors circling Modern Warfare 2 with the biggest one said to be that it won’t include multiplayer at all. Yes. I know it’s a bummer if true.

Anyone jumping into the Modern Warfare Xbox 360 pool today? Let us know how it goes! We wish you the best against the cheaters and whatnot.

The remastered version is so bad. It’s just the CoD 4 maps redone in the Infinite Warfare version of their engine, very disappointing.
