Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Has More Ways to Earn Weapon Camos; Multiplayer Reveal Touches Down
Today, Treyarch has revealed our first-ever look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s multiplayer. where we see the various guns in action, as well as the traversal mechanics and more.
This is our first real look at the multiplayer before Call of Duty Next airs later this month, and when the multiplayer beta kicks off when in October.

Black Ops 7 Multiplayer Gives a Look at Pace and More
Brief over of content we can expect in multiplayer:
- 18 Launch Maps
- 30 Launch Weapons
- Next-Level Omnimovement
- Weapon Build Sharing and Weapon Prestige
- 20 Killstreaks
Another thing revealed today is how in Black Ops 7, players will be able to earn camos in more ways than before.
- Weapon Prestige: 3 unique Universal Camos to unlock per weapon
- Military Weapon Camos: Now 80 headshots instead of 100
- Special Weapon Camos: Now 3 Specials per weapon instead of 2
- Weekly Challenges: 2 Universal Camos each season
- Seasonal Events: Universal Camos available throughout the seasons
- 16 Mastery Camos: 4 per mode, including Co-Op Campaign
There’s another unrevealed way teased as well by Treyarch.
Don’t forget, Call of Duty Next airs on September 30, during which, we should hear everything there is to know about the game’s multiplayer, Warzone, Zombies and more.
While Activision initially announced that carry forward would be implemented in Black Ops 7, that has since been revoked, which should be good news for Call of Duty fans.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on Nov. 14 on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
