The first Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 beta weekend has officially concluded, but fret not, as the next round of testing starts later this week! But in the meantime, for those who might have noticed some visibility issues and were annoyed by slide delays, the good news is that Sledgehammer Games is listening and plans on addressing them in the second Modern Ware 3 beta weekend.
In an X posting, Sledgehammer Games thanked the community for participating in the first beta weekend for Modern Warfare 3, revealing that the second test would include a new map and a new mode. But most importantly, they would also be changing a few things that most players took issue with: operator visibility and slide delays.
Weekend One of the #MW3 Multiplayer Beta has come to an end! We'll be back on Thursday with the highly-anticipated return of Highrise, debut of Cutthroat, and more expected throughout the weekend ahead.
Until then, we'd like to take a moment to thank you all for your feedback.… pic.twitter.com/mpEnU0FLso

This is fantastic news, and we cannot wait to see how the studio addresses these this Thursday when the second beta weekend arrives. Hopefully, they’re for the better, as I know I had issues with the visibility myself.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 second beta weekend begins this Thursday, October 12, and will run through October 14.
