Gaming Easter eggs are nothing new, and is usually something coveted by fans since that means a secret has been uncovered. Apparently, there’s Crash Bandicoot 4 mystery logo/image that appears when you fully complete the game, and then do a little bit of snooping!
Once you fully beat the game, which means reaching 106%, the TV in the tutorial level will then flash a quick series of images, with a new one snuck in! Check the video out below.
Too fast for you? Check out the screenshot of the image that flashes after being mined (via ResetEra):
Could this be for Crash Bandicoot 5? Perhaps a spin-off? Maybe a crossover with Sonic the Hedgehog (given the blue streak)? Your guess is as good as mine at this point. If this is indeed a sequel and it’s anywhere near as good as Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, then fans will be in for a treat.
Speaking of which, make sure to read our review of Crash 4, and see why we think it deserves a 9/10, and where we state, “it’s safe to say that Crash has finally found a new home, with developers that truly know how to respect the source material. The future of the series is looking bright, and hopefully for a long time.”
