While Bloober Team just released Cronos: The New Dawn last month, and the studio released the Silent Hill 2 remake last year, it seems we won’t have to wait long to experience the next game from the Polish studio.

During an investor’s report, the company confirmed that gamers won’t have to wait long between the studio’s big releases, which should be good news for horror fans.

Bloober Team’s Next Game Release Might Not Be as Far Away as We Think

In the investor’s report, Bloober was asked when we can expect another event of this magnitude (pertaining to the releases of Cronos and Silent Hill 2).

Bloober replied, “Our goal is to become a leader in the horror genre, which translates into a strategy of releasing games in increasingly shorter periods between releases. The second party department is supposed to help with this, among others. We are also working on big titles as part of it, so we should not expect a longer downtime between big releases :)” (Editor’s Note: Yes, there is a smiley in the report).

Does this mean the Silent Hill 1 remake the studio is working on at Konami a lot further along in development than we thought? Or perhaps the studio is pertaining to another title, though highly unlikely given Bloober has said before that there are two teams within the studio, with one that worked on Silent Hill 2, and the other that worked on Cronos: The New Dawn.

For now, it’s unknown whether Bloober has something planned for release in 2026. I was assuming they didn’t have anything, and will then release Silent Hill 1 remake in 2027. I would love to be proven wrong though.

So far, the studio has released two amazing AAA horror experiences. Cronos: The New Dawn might be one of the year’s best new IPs, and thankfully, the game plays well too. The Silent Hill 2 remake, released in 2024, was also top-tier, and it successfully revived the once-dormant Silent Hill franchise. For those that are playing or have played Cronos, there was a game update released a few days ago that fixed New Game+ bugs and more.

Hopefully, we’ll hear more about the studio’s plans soon, and once we know more, we’ll let our readers know.
