DayZ 2 in Development Court Document Reveals

According to a new document revealed as part of evidence from Microsoft and FTC’s legal battle, it has been revealed that Bohemia Interactive is working on DayZ 2.

The document comes from Microsoft itself, as part of its “developers to watch” list for possible acquisitions. One of those developers of course, is Bohemia. The document reveals that Bohemia Interactive is currently working on Arma Reforged, Arma 4, and DayZ 2.

DayZ 2

While both Arma Reforged and Arma 4 were previously announced, Bohemia Interactive never officially unveiled DayZ 2, however, this document suggests that it is in development. Bohemia hasn’t acknowledged this document as of yet.

The same document also revealed that DayZ has been played for nearly 14 million hours on Xbox Game Pass (console) in six months.

Microsoft was considering some serious acquisitions before it finalized its merger with Activision Blizzard King, including notable publishers like Sega and Bungie (which got bought out by Sony). The Microsoft and FTC showdown resumes later today, and we will keep updating our readers with updates once it is live.
