PSA: Destiny 2 (& Destiny 1) Servers Have Been Taken Offline for Scheduled Maintenance

Both Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 servers are offline for scheduled maintenance. This is planned to last for a total of four hours, ending at 11 a.m PT / 2 p.m ET. 

Happily, Bungie has scheduled this during a period when most gamers will be at work or school, so that’s nice of them. 

Here’s the tweet confirming the downtime is planned:

Following the downtime, players will be prompted to accept update 1.0.1.3. (We’ll be presented with patch notes later.)

What will you be getting up to during the maintenance period? Playing a different title? Or taking a much-needed break from video games?
