In today’s Xbox Business Development Update podcast, not only did Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirm four games are coming to “other platforms,” but Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, announced that Diablo 4 is headed to Game Pass!

Players can expect Diablo 4 on Game Pass for Xbox and PC this March 28.

In addition to that, Bond also revealed that the Game Pass subscriber count has now reached a whopping 34 million subscriber count! Also revealed at the show in passing is that there is an Xbox show planned for June, though that’s not really surprising given we get that every year.

Will We See More Activision-Blizzard Games Head to Game Pass?

In the show, Sarah Bond did state that Diablo 4 is the start of the Activision Blizzard games coming to the service. With Microsoft now comfortable with the Activision-Blizzard merger, players can expect more Activision Blizzard games following Diablo 4 to join the subscription service as per Sarah Bond.

If you’re an Xbox gamer, expect a lot more Bethesda and Activision games to appear on the service, as for now, this is Xbox’s ace in the hole in the competitive video game industry.

The company also reiterated that all Xbox Game Studios (including Bethesda and Activision Blizzard) games will continue to launch on Xbox Game Pass day one.

For those wondering whether we’ll see Game Pass on other platforms, Xbox Game Studios head confirmed that it isn’t the case (for now at least), as while listing down some of the perks of owning an Xbox, he mentioned that Xbox is the only console that will have Xbox Game Pass.
