It’s been almost two weeks since the launch of Dying Light: The Beast, and players are already pulling in some impressive statistics.

From killing billions of zombies to racking up thousands of years of playtime, here’s what players have done the most in the game, and where they’re doing the most of it from.

While we’re used to seeing developers release stats about their games, Techland went up a notch with the info they’ve collected from players.

Dying Light: The Beast Statistics Prove the Game’s Biggest Threat Is the Players Themselves

Who doesn’t love looking at interesting, yet somewhat pointless, statistics for a video game? I know I do, as it always amazes me just how much something players can pull off, and in the case of Dying Light: The Beast, players have already pulled off some rather impressive, if not a bit concerning, numbers.

Here’s what all you managed to accomplish in the last two weeks:

Gameplay Stats

  • 25,625,042 total hours played
    • Equivalent to 2,923 years of non-stop play
  • 168,933 player deaths
  • 189,117,800 hours survived at night
    • Equivalent to 21,574 years
  • 152,185,635 kilometers run
    • Like running from Earth to the Moon and back 198 times
  • 19.6 million kilometers traveled by car
  • 3.1 million vehicles caught on fire and exploded

Zombie Stats

  • 2,289,451,369 zombies killed
    • Would fill 28,618 sold-out 80,000-seat stadiums
  • 334.7 million zombies run over

Player Combat Stats

  • 176.7 million dropkicks
  • 112.8 million finishers
  • 59.5 million headshots landed
  • 23.6 million Molotovs thrown

Deaths by Enemies

  • 1.2 million players killed by volatiles

Weapons Stats

  • 26.5 million weapons repaired
  • 77.1 million weapons destroyed
  • Most popular weapon: Reinforced Camp Axe

Global Zombie Kill Leaderboard

  1. United States – 763,199,529
  2. China – 412,305,907
  3. Germany – 274,819,040
  4. United Kingdom – 252,282,052

I know I’ve contributed to some of these numbers myself, if not the most, on Volatiles’ death. Look, nighttimes in Dying Light: The Beast are terrifyingly dark. Can you blame me for making up for at least 50% of those deaths alone? I kid, of course.

Anyway, congrats to everyone who has made these numbers possible, and in just under two weeks. We’re sure these numbers are going to continue to grow as more and more players join in on the hunt.

In other Dying Light: The Beast news, the latgst hotfix seems to have broken a few things, which means we should expect another patch soon-ish.

Dying Light: The Beast is now available worldwide, on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
