Techland has released the Dying Light update 1.41 patch (The Following Enhanced Edition version 1.34) and this is to add a new event, dockets and loads more! Yes, even with Dying Light 2 set to be released in a month, Techland is still releasing updates for the first one! Check out the Dying Light update 1.41 January 24 patch notes below.

Here’s what’s listed in the PS4 update history:

– New Dockets for Events
– Balance tweaks for Snowstorm (Frost Grenade Launcher in Snow Ops Bundle)
– Fixed problem with clipping gloves in Van Crane suit (Van Crane Bundle)
– New Items and Blueprints
– New type of event
– Additional Enemy variation
– New Graffiti
* Bug-fixing & Tweaks
– [DL] The use of flashlight is now limited in Nightmare
– [DL] Event related pop-ups will now pause the game (single-player only)
– [Hellraid] Arrow bundles now require to be picked up through interaction instead of automatically
* Minor bug fixes

Of course, the big thing here is the “Spike’s Story” event, which starts today and runs until January 28. This has multiple parts, and has rewards tied to it too. Here’s what rewards players can expect from Part 1 (via Techland):

Players will also notice that the event has Dying Light 2 banners and graffiti strewn about! Here’s a few screenshots of it:

Speaking of Dying Light 2, we’re putting in the hours for the game right now! While we can’t say anything about it, look for our review to hit the site before the game’s February 4 release date.
