E3 2019: Bethesda Announces Orion Streaming Engine, Watch It in Action Now

Here’s a weird announcement: at Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference, the company started talking about the latest tech, and segued into what it calls “Orion,” which is a streaming engine/technology that will offer a better streaming experience regardless of game or platform.

Bethesda then proceeded to show us a demo of DOOM being streamed on a mobile device with virtually no latency, and at 60 frames-per-second (according to Bethesda). Here it is in action:

Bethesda says that players can sign up and test Orion out for themselves via the SlayersClub website.
