It looks like we’re about to get another video game announcement tomorrow, as publisher Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that there’s going to be an announcement tomorrow! Yes, it’s an announcement for an announcement. What a time to be alive, eh?

The tweet with the announcement also mentioned that it’ll be “big news,” which suggest that this could be a game reveal for one of the publisher’s franchises,

What’s interesting here is the line ” Do you have an online BFF you would like to meet in IRL (in real life)?” thing. Based on that, this somehow ties into online personas and the like, Could this be a new social platform? Maybe a new game announcement for Need for Speed that involves a social aspect of some kind?
EA does have a game and franchise that ties into friends and whatnot, and that’s The Sims 4. Earlier this month, EA announced that The Sims 4 will be going free-to-play this October, where a “Behind The Sims Summit” digital event is being held too.
Oddly enough, EA did announce a new game today. The publisher officially revealed Wild Heart which is game the publisher is collaborating with Omega Force (a Koei Tecmo studio).
