Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been delayed again… at least the Epic Game Store version, as the Console and Steam versions are still on track to arrive this February.
For those who decided to pre-order Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on the Epic Game Store, you should be receiving a cancellation email soon as Rocksteady has confirmed the release is getting delayed on the storefront via Discord.
“The release for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice league on the Epic Game Store is now March 5, 2024. If you pre-ordered the game on this storefront, Epic will be cancelling your pre-order and refunding customers directly. A confirmation email of this cancellation will be sent directly from the Epic Games Store Support Team. If you have any further inquiries regarding your pre-order, please visit https://www.epicgames.com/help. ”
The delay is just over a month and only affects the Epic Game Store version. So if you pre-ordered elsewhere, you can expect to be playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League on February 2, with early access starting January 30 for those who purchase the Deluxe Edition before launch.
It’s odd seeing this only affects one platform, and Rocksteady hasn’t provided the exact reason why. They are canceling pre-orders and refunding customers so they can buy elsewhere, so that is some good news. It’s a bit ironic, though, considering the game is built on Unreal Engine, and the very platform that created it is getting it later, but if it needs more work, it needs more work.
There is some good news, at least, as the next Suicide Squad Insider episode has finally been given a date, and it’s airing tomorrow! You’ll be able to watch the newest episode at 10 am PST on the official Suicide Squad game Youtuber channel.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) on February 2, with the Deluxe Edition available on January 30.

That is kinda strange it only affects one platform and they didn’t gave a reason for the delay. Im currently waiting for the PSN release and hopefully it’s released on schedule.
