Why Is Fallout 76 Down This August 12?

If you’re asking this, it’s not you but the game! Here’s what Bethesda shared on Twitter:

We plan on bringing @Fallout 76 offline tomorrow, August 12, at 10 am ET to apply a hotfix. You will be unable to play the game at that time. Thank you for your understanding.

No official time on when the servers will be up, but it shouldn’t be that long. We’ll update the post within the day if any additional patch notes are shared, as well as for the server status.
