Fallout 76 Update 1.55

Can’t log in to Fallout 76? It’s not you, but rather, Bethesda is rolling out the Fallout 76 update 1.55 hotfix, as the servers are now undergoing maintenance! This has been announced by the studio today!

Fallout 76 Update 1.55 Patch Notes:

File Size: 3GB on PC, 3.7GB on Xbox One/PS4

Per the game’s official Discord channel:

Hi everybody, Starting at 10am ET tomorrow, August 12, we’re going to bring Fallout 76 offline in order to perform maintenance and apply a hotfix. This update will address a crash being experienced by folks on PlayStation, and it will make Fallout 1st rewards on the Season 5 Scoreboard visible again. We’ll share another update here once downtime begins tomorrow. Thank you!

That’s all the info we have so far.

Why Is Fallout 76 Down This August 12?

If you’re asking this, it’s not you but the game! Here’s what Bethesda shared on Twitter:

We plan on bringing @Fallout 76 offline tomorrow, August 12, at 10 am ET to apply a hotfix. You will be unable to play the game at that time. Thank you for your understanding.

No official time on when the servers will be up, but it shouldn’t be that long. We’ll update the post within the day if any additional patch notes are shared, as well as for the server status.
