Final Fantasy 16 Pre-Order in Asia Gives Players a Chance to Meet Yoshi-P in Person

final fantasy 16 pre-order

Final Fantasy 16 launches in less than a month, and PlayStation is running a promotion that will entice players to preorder the game before its release. The prize? A personal meet-and-greet with FF16’s producer, Naoki Yoshida, also known as Yoshi-P. The Final Fantasy 16 pre-order promotion will have winners meet Yoshida in Malaysia where the event will be held.

The promotion was announced via PlayStation Asia’s official Twitter account:

The promotion is only eligible for select countries: residents from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines are able to apply. To enter the contest, participants must pre-order a disc copy of Final Fantasy 16 from a list of supported retailers, which you can check here. They must then present their proof of purchase via Google Forms (link here) alongside various personal information. It’s also worth mentioning that participants must have a valid t gravel passport with at least a six-month validity from the travel dates (from June 30 to July 2). They will also need to answer a couple of questions before submitting the form.

Winners of the promotion will gain entry to the meet-and-greet event, and winners outside Malaysia will be provided with a paid round trip flight and accommodations at the Sunway Pyramid Hotel. Note that the majority of winners will be from Malaysia, with a total of 80 winners from the country, whereas only two or three winners will be selected from other eligible countries.

If you’re interested in entering the promotion, note that you’ll only have until June 18 at 11:59 PM GMT+8. There are still a couple of weeks before the cutoff period, so you won’t need to rush things just yet, but keep that date in mind if you can’t pre-order FF16 at the moment.

Final Fantasy 16 officially launches on June 22, with no Day 1 patch planned for the game, so in the event that you win, you’ll still have plenty of time to enjoy the game itself before meeting with Yoshida in person.
