Final Fantasy 16 Rated in Brazil, Could Mean Release Date Announcement Soon

Final Fantasy 16 demo

With Final Fantasy 16 being “very fleshed out” for months now, fans are itching for more news regarding the game’s eventual release. And while there hasn’t been anything official as of late, a rating for the game in Brazil may hint at potential news regarding the release sometime soon.

The official rating for FF16, according to the official government website, is “not recommended for children under 16.” The listed reasons are due to sexual content, sensitive issues, and violence.

Again, this doesn’t really prove anything concrete, other than the fact that Brazil managed to know enough about the game to rate it. Still, this does imply that the game is complete enough that governments and organizations can provide accurate ratings on it, so we can expect more news on FF16 in the near future.

In the meantime, you can read up on some more info regarding FF16, such as its New Game+ mode and multiple difficulty settings. While FF16 will launch as a PS5 exclusive, it’s confirmed to only remain exclusive for six months, so fans on other platforms will have to wait a bit before they can enjoy the game outside the PS5.
