Square Enix brough in a ton of new Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth gameplay footage at this year’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2023). Not only do we see combat, but there’s also a look at some of the side activities players can do, and even some piano playing from Cloud!

The first video below features the Grasslands area, which game director Naoki Hamaguchi said spans about two kilometers by itself.
Near the end of the clip, we see some of the side stuff players can do in the game such as chocobo customization and more.
Next up, we see Cloud Strife playing the piano. It seems like your typical rhythm-based games in how it plays out, but the player uses the analog sticks mostly.
I have to say, FF7 Rebirth is looking solid so far! We should hear more about it in the coming weeks and months as we inch nearer its Feb. 29, 2024 release date for the PS5.
FF7R is definitely a day one purchase, look forward to additional post that get submitted in the coming weeks with more information.
