Fortnite Battle Royale Update Aims to Fix Crashing Issues & Squash Bugs

Fortnite Battle Royale update is currently rolling out across PlayStation 4 and PC. The Xbox One update is planned to go live at 9 a.m. ET, however this timing is subject to change.

Epic Games has stated that there will be no downtime, but players will need to close and update their clients when notified.

Here’s the full list of patch notes for update 1.0.9.1:

Gameplay

– Fixed an issue which caused raindrops to appear on the screen when one of your teammate’s was in the storm but you were not.

Audio

– Fixed an issue which caused storm audio to persist even after leaving the storm.

– Fixed a bug which allowed players to hear glider and umbrella deployment from great distances.

Stability

– Fixed a client crash that could occur when a player deployed their glider.

I’m especially happy that the audio issues have been fixed! Those were very annoying!

In other Fortnite news, the previous update added a launch pad trap and improved performance, and the game’s player count broke 20 million.
