Fortnite Down as Epic Games Faces Server Issues on December 24
It’s Christmas, and those taking some time off to play some games and spend time with family will have to do it without Fortnite for the time being, as the game’s servers are experiencing issues this December 24.
This issue seems to be connected to Epic Games, based on what we’ve gleaned online. It’s not just Fortnite seeing issues today, either.
Fortnite Greeted With Server Issues on Christmas Eve
The official Fortnite Status account announced the following two hours ago, “We are investigating login issues players are currently experiencing. We are working on a fix ASAP and will share an update once this has been resolved.”
About an hour ago, the studio provided an update, stating, ” We’re still working on bringing Fortnite back online and restoring matchmaking to normal. Players currently logged in may see themselves kicked from the game while work to bring services back online.” Just in case you’re wondering why you manage to connect to the servers but get kicked out.
Aside from Fortnite, other games seeing issues include ARC Raiders, Rocket League (another Epic Games-owned property), and even Among Us.
Needless to say, once there’s more news to share, we’ll update the article with the info. For now, check out our guide on how to get 1,000 V-Bucks in the game for just $1 without doing anything illegal. We also posted about the latest update and Winterfest 2025, if you haven’t logged into the game recently.
